I grew up loving Rock and Roll music so when Danielle contacted me asking for a rock and roll style wedding I jumped at the chance to capture this fun outgoing couple tie the knot.
Bridal preparation was at Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa, in a beautiful, grand room overlooking their stunning grounds. The excitement was palpable, the champagne flowed, pancakes were devoured and the hair and make up was skillfully styled and expertly applied.
Then it was off to Woldingham Golf Course for the ceremony and reception. I spent the day looking for moments between people, whilst looking for the most interesting shots I could find, using sun flares, reflections in mirrors and other imaginative camera angles/movements to give me as many options as possible to rock out in the edit.
When Danielle entered the ceremony and started walking down the aisle the whole room erupted in enthusiastic applause, it was this point I realised how much their friends and family were invested in them. David actually looked like he melted when he turned around and caught Danielle’s eye.
The speeches were heartfelt and personal. The whole room was united in their encouragement of the speaker. More champagne, food, good cheer flowed until a lovely first dance and a moving, emotional father and daughter dance got people onto the dance floor and they rocked out until the early hours.
Package: Peacock – Story
This is an example of my ‘Peacock’ package but Danielle wanted the video to rock and keep rolling until the end and also be around 20 minutes long so instead of adding the usual full ceremony and speeches I cut them down to the best bits, which means the video keeps flowing from scene to scene and it views more like a short film rather than a documentary wedding film. So I’m calling this version of the Peacock package the ‘Peacock – Story.’
With this package you would also receive a 5-7 minute highlights reel on your USB stick.
